The book The Complete Maus is the story of Valdak Spiegelman in the years of the holocaust. The book is written by his son Art Spiegelman. Artie visited his dad about everyday to ask about his dads life during the holocaust. The best part of the story is when Valdak talks about when the U.S army comes and saves them at the last minute before he gets killed. They gave him food and somewhere to sleep while they fought back the German army. He was sent to a place where he would then find something waiting for him.
This book is a story of a man named Valdak and his story of the holocaust. This book would be a good book to read if you like graphic novels, or anything to due with the holocaust. I recommend this book to people that likes a story of the holocaust and how one man lives through it. This book has details about his life in Poland during the time Hitler attacks the Jews. During the book the complete maus valdak, the main character of the story, is inside the penetration camp and is trying to find his way out. He meets this old man who looks at him and tells him that the number they put on his arm was very lucky. My prediction is that valdak will make it out of the camps safe and make it back to his wife anna.
